Does GRAYE deliver furniture throughout California?

Yes. GRAYE delivers across California, including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, Palm Springs, and coastal communities. Delivery is white-glove and includes room placement and packaging removal.

Can I book a virtual design consultation if I am not in Los Angeles?

Yes. Virtual consultations are available by appointment for clients across California or outside the greater Los Angeles area. The session covers room dimensions, existing materials, design goals, and budget, and ends with tailored product recommendations. It’s a convenient way to plan your interior with GRAYE, whether you’re considering modern furniture in California or a more traditional design direction.

What furniture works best for coastal California homes?

Coastal homes do best with materials that resist salt air and humidity: dense hardwoods such as teak, powder-coated or marine-grade metals, and stone or solid-surface tops. Tightly woven performance fabrics hold color and structure better in humid conditions. Our design team can recommend suitable materials and finishes for your location, including options from our California outdoor furniture collection.

Is GRAYE limited to Los Angeles, or does it serve the whole state?

GRAYE’s West Hollywood showroom is its physical location, while statewide delivery and virtual design consultations serve clients throughout California. Customers in San Francisco, San Diego, and Palm Springs can access the collection remotely, with white-glove delivery to their address. Whether you’re looking for contemporary furniture in California or distinctive European designs, our team can help you select pieces for your home.

How long does delivery take, and can it be timed around a renovation?

Lead times depend on the piece and manufacturer, typically 16 to 20 weeks, with customization adding two to four weeks. We confirm the lead time when you order and coordinate delivery with your construction or renovation schedule.

Collections That Suit the California Home

California interiors share certain characteristics even across different climates: a preference for honest materials, generous floor plans, and a close relationship between indoor and outdoor living. GRAYE's collection reflects these principles through thoughtfully selected European designer furniture.

Seating. Sofas, lounge chairs, and dining chairs from European designers who prioritize material integrity, comfort, and enduring design.

Bedroom. Beds and nightstands featuring solid wood frames, refined leather, and upholstered finishes for considered, comfortable interiors.

Tables and storage. Accent tables and cabinets combining stone, metal, and wood to introduce depth and tactile character to contemporary spaces.

Lighting. Floor, wall, table, and ceiling lighting from Italian and European designers, featuring materials such as alabaster, brass, and oxidized metal.

Outdoor furniture. Furniture for covered terraces and indoor-outdoor entertaining spaces, with materials and finishes selected for outdoor conditions.

Design Considerations for California Homes

California's varied climates make material selection an important part of furnishing a home. From salt air along the coast to intense desert sunlight, the right furniture and finishes can help support both the appearance and longevity of your interiors.

Coastal homes, from Malibu to San Diego. Salt air can accelerate corrosion in untreated metals and affect certain wood finishes. Consider powder-coated or marine-grade metals, dense hardwoods such as teak, stone surfaces, and tightly woven performance fabrics where appropriate.

Inland and desert homes, including Palm Springs. Intense sunlight, dry air, and temperature fluctuations make material selection especially important. Solid wood with quality joinery and tightly woven, UV-resistant upholstery can be practical choices. Allow new wood furniture to acclimate indoors and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heating or cooling vents where possible.

Indoor-outdoor living. A defining feature of California architecture is the connection between interior rooms and outdoor spaces. Coordinating finishes, tones, and proportions helps create visual continuity between living rooms, terraces, courtyards, and outdoor dining areas.

As a California home furniture store, GRAYE offers design guidance on materials, scale, and placement to help you make selections suited to your home's location, architecture, and everyday use.

How Ordering, Delivery, and Installation Work

GRAYE delivers throughout California, including Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, and Palm Springs. Our process is designed to make selecting and receiving European designer furniture straightforward.

Consultation. We review your rooms, architecture, materials, and design brief, either virtually or in person at our West Hollywood showroom.

Selection and specification. Our team provides tailored product recommendations, technical specifications, and pricing to help you make informed decisions.

Order confirmation. We confirm product availability and estimated lead times. Many European designer furniture orders typically take 16 to 20 weeks, while customization may add another two to four weeks, depending on the manufacturer and specification.

White-glove delivery. Furniture is delivered, assembled where applicable, positioned in the room, and unpacked, with packaging removed. For larger projects, delivery can be coordinated with renovation and construction schedules.

Virtual and In-Person Design Consultations

Virtual design consultations allow clients in San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento, Palm Springs, and other California communities to work with the GRAYE team without traveling to West Hollywood. Sessions cover room dimensions, material palettes, existing architecture, and your design brief, resulting in tailored recommendations, specifications, and pricing.

In-person consultations at our West Hollywood showroom provide an opportunity to experience furniture at full scale and assess materials, finishes, proportions, and craftsmanship firsthand. For a complete room or an entire residence, an in-person visit can help you evaluate the collection within a more comprehensive design context.
