BIOGRAPHY
Alex Turco creates work at the intersection of nature and minimalism. Living between Italy, the United States, and Ibiza, Turco draws upon diverse landscapes, industrial rigor, Mediterranean light, and rugged coastlines to inform his practice.
Resin and steel serve as his primary mediums, materials that both contrast and complement one another: fluid and reflective, hard, and precise. Across these surfaces, Turco inscribes delicate tracery of his own fingerprints, a personal mark that anchors work with intimacy and permanence.
His practice is rooted in the Italian traditions of craftsmanship and conceptual clarity yet consistently pushes toward new geometries and unconventional forms. In doing so, Turco creates pieces that are both object and environment, deeply personal yet universally resonant.
