Explore modern beds in Los Angeles at GRAYE, where contemporary frames are designed to give your primary bedroom the right proportions, support, and visual weight. Our modern beds suit a range of room layouts, mattress sizes, and interior styles, from a streamlined platform bed to an upholstered bed with a substantial headboard. Each piece can shape how the rest of your bedroom comes together.
A mirror does two jobs at once. It frames the room it hangs in, and it returns the light that enters it. Mirrors in Los Angeles homes, with their large windows and open plans, are chosen as much for what they reflect as for how they look.
GRAYE’s West Hollywood gallery presents Italian and European designs in brass, bronze, ceramic, wood, and concrete, from sculptural wall mirrors to a freestanding floor mirror. See them in person and plan their placement with our design team.

The Mirror Collection
Sculptural Mirrors
Some mirrors are closer to objects than to glass.- Paradigma: a sculptural mirror with a charcoal-dyed oak structure, an integrated vase and a tray
- Syro: a set of three mirrors with sculptural brass structures
- Tamu: a mirror with natural straw inserts and black straw rope detailing
Metal-Framed Wall Mirrors
- Galileo by Mario Ferrarini: a geometric wall mirror in dark bronze metal
- Frame by Antonella Tesei: a refined metal frame in brass, copper or stainless steel
- Reflection by Piero Lissoni: a wall mirror with a burnished brass structure and a bronze satin finish
- Riflesso: a mirror with a solid brass structure or a stainless steel frame
- Kevin Specchio by Euro Sironi: a decorative wall mirror in painted metal, with vintage character
Ceramic, Wood and Natural Materials
- Coque by Alain Gilles: an organic ceramic mirror in cream, grey or terracotta red
- Ninfea by Paola Paronetto and Giovanni Botticelli: a mirror that combines ceramic paper clay with crisp glass, available in a range of colors
- Ad-Ore by Mathias Hahn: a wall mirror with a solid ash structure and a walnut Canaletto frame
Floor Mirror
- Vague: a freestanding floor mirror and coat hanger with a concrete base and a bronze frame, a floor mirror that doubles as a piece of furniture in an entryway
Illuminated Mirrors
- Brame by De Castelli: a wall mirror with a concave metal frame and LED backlighting
- Ninfea is also offered in an illuminated version
Where to Place a Mirror
- Above a console. Choose a mirror about two-thirds to three-quarters of the console’s width, hung 6 to 8 inches above the surface. See our consoles. A narrow entry takes a vertical or sculptural form, and a wide console takes a horizontal one or a set of three.
- In the entryway. A mirror just inside the door adds light and gives a last glance on the way out. A floor mirror with a coat hanger, like Vague, saves wall space.
- In the bedroom. Hang a mirror near the dresser or closet, where you dress, or lean a full-length mirror against a wall. See our bedroom furniture and cabinets.
- In the bathroom. Above a vanity, a mirror should be no wider than the vanity, with its lower edge 4 to 8 inches above the counter. An illuminated mirror suits a vanity, and our lighting collection can complement it.
- In the living or dining room. Above a sofa or sideboard, a mirror about two-thirds of the furniture’s width reads as balanced. A wall mirror set between two windows reflects both views.
How to Choose a Mirror
- Start with the wall. Measure the width and height of the space, and note any furniture below it.
- Choose the scale. A mirror about two-thirds the width of the furniture below it looks balanced. A large decorative mirror can stand alone as the focal point of a wall.
- Choose the shape. A round mirror softens a room of straight lines, an arched mirror adds height to a doorway wall, and a rectangular one gives a clean, architectural line.
- Choose the frame. Metal gives a crisp edge, ceramic a soft one, and wood warmth. Echo a finish already in the room.
- Plan the light. A mirror reflects whatever faces it, so place it opposite a window, a view, or a pleasing light source.
Light and Reflection in Los Angeles Homes
Can a mirror make a room feel larger? Yes, because it extends the view and returns light. Place it on a wall perpendicular to or across from a window, so that it picks up daylight and reflects the view. At the end of a corridor, a mirror adds depth. Avoid facing a mirror toward clutter or a blank wall, since it will reflect exactly that. With the strong Los Angeles sun, a mirror opposite a window can also cast bright light across the room, so test the position at different times of day.Materials and Care
- Brass, bronze and copper: develop a patina over time. Dust with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive polishes.
- Stainless steel: wipe with a damp cloth and dry it to prevent marks.
- Ceramic and paper clay: wipe gently with a damp cloth.
- Wood: dust with a dry cloth and keep it out of direct sun.
- Glass: spray cleaner onto a cloth, not onto the glass, so liquid does not seep behind the edge.
Installation and Safety
Heavy mirrors need secure mounting into studs or with appropriate wall anchors. A floor mirror that leans against a wall should be secured with an anti-tip fastener, particularly in a home with children or pets. Our team can advise on hanging hardware and placement.Customization and Lead Times
Several mirrors come in a choice of finish or color: Frame in brass, copper, or stainless steel; Coque in three ceramic colors; Riflesso in brass or stainless steel; and Ninfea in a range of colors. Options vary by model, and our team will confirm what is available. Lead times are 16 to 20 weeks, with an additional 2 to 4 weeks for customized orders. Our team confirms timing before you order. Why Choose GRAYE
