INTRODUCTION
GRAYE presents Agapecasa in an exhibition focused on the work and legacy of Angelo Mangiarotti. Founded in Italy, Agapecasa brings together a collection of furniture shaped by an architectural approach to design, with an emphasis on proportion, construction, and the inherent qualities of materials. The exhibition highlights Mangiarotti’s distinctive use of marble, stone, wood, and glass, alongside the precision and craftsmanship that define the collection.
Angelo Mangiarotti’s work is characterized by a clear relationship between material and construction. His designs emphasize essential forms, structural logic, and carefully considered proportions. Agapecasa works in collaboration with archives and estates to preserve and reproduce significant pieces from his body of work, maintaining the original design principles and material specifications.
