The Mobile Chandelier 6 by Michael Anastassiades is a sculptural lighting piece inspired by the principles of a traditional mobile. Delicate linear tubes, geometric light sources, reflective surfaces, and counterbalancing weights are arranged in precise equilibrium, allowing the chandelier to rotate freely and create an ever-changing composition of light and form.
Each Mobile Chandelier is individually balanced using approximately 200 hand-crafted patinated brass components. The composition is uniquely tailored to account for the varying weight of each mouth-blown opaline glass element, making every chandelier distinct in its dimensions and visual balance. The result is a dynamic contemporary light fixture that brings movement, craftsmanship, and architectural character to residential and hospitality interiors.
