WILD MOREL VESSEL
WILD MOREL VESSEL
—
Designed by Brenda Holzke
The Wild Morel Vessel Sculpture by Brenda Holzke explores the organic qualities of clay through a handbuilt stoneware form. Finished with engobe and glaze, the piece combines tactile surface and irregular form, reflecting Holzke’s interest in geological and natural references. The handmade process allows subtle variations in texture, shape, and finish, emphasizing the individuality of the work.
Created in Los Angeles, Wild Morel reflects Holzke’s ongoing exploration of clay as a material that invites experimentation and unpredictability. Its sculptural form and layered surface bring together primitive references with a contemporary sensibility, presenting the vessel as a collectible ceramic work that sits between art, craft, and design.
