The Fossil Low Table by Belgian designer and sculptor Xavier Lust is a sculptural contemporary furniture piece defined by its fluid geometry and organic silhouette. Designed for MDF Italia, the Fossil collection reinterprets the traditional low table through rounded, irregular forms that give each piece a distinctive architectural presence.
Made from lightweight UHPFRC cement, or ultra-high performance fiber-reinforced concrete, Fossil combines a substantial concrete appearance with a lightweight construction. The finish and neutral coloration are created through a carefully developed mixture of sand and natural elements, followed by a slow maturation and drying process that brings subtle variation and texture to the surface.
Available in two sizes, the Fossil Low Table can be used individually or arranged as a group to create flexible compositions within a space. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, its durable cement construction makes it suitable for contemporary living rooms, terraces, patios, hospitality environments, and other architectural settings.
